We had no idea when we started 1 Giant Leap where our musical concoctions would take us. So far we've been round the world twice, not as tourists but as explorers seeking out the inspirational. We've met and collaborated with many of the people that have inspired us to create from Brian Eno to Kurt Vonnegut, Michael Stipe to Baaba Maal. In our first project our fascination had been with exploring the unity of humanity through music and philosophy. This time we wanted to make it more personal. We wanted to talk to people about their madness and how they deal with it. We were lucky enough to do sessions with Michael Stipe, Maxi Jazz, KD Lang, Baaba Maal, Lila Downs, Oumou Sangare, Alanis Morrisette, Will Young and over a hundred collaborators.

After our 7 month trip around the world we came home with over 1000 hours of footage and hundreds of overdubs from all over the world. It took 2 years and editing and mixing to finish the film, DVD, 7 part TV series and double album. At last we proud to announce "What about me? A question we all struggle with from time to time...
